Why am I suddenly getting discharge after being off the birth control pill for a month?

I've been taking Microgestin Birth Control Pills for two years. Then, when I broke up with my boyfriend I decided to stop taking the it since I'm not having sex anymore.

Now, everytime I pee and wipe myself, there's some clear or milky white discharge on the toilet paper.

Also when i take my underwear off at the end of the day, they are stained from the discharge which is really gross.

Anyhow when I was taking the pill, that never happened.

What's up with that? I don't have a yeast infection or any itching.

That is normal... That is just average discharge... The pill makes your body think your pregnant and so you don't get the normal discharge but now that your cycle is returning, so is your discharg.

It's normal... vaginal openings tend to leak discharge, it is your bodys way of cleansing itself. I get that all the time, if it's white and or clear and you don't have an STD or an infection of some sort, dont' worry! You probably just have excess discharge. My doctor says it's completely natural. Also note that during REM sleep, your genitals are aroused, and that might stimulate lubrication in the vagina so dont' worry.

I know that some women can have discharge while they are ovulating, at least that is the case for me.. But it does not last very long and it isn't a lot. Maybe a doctor would be able to give you more advice?

Are you sure you don't have a yeast infection? Maybe it is the beginning of one....

Sounds like you are making a loaf of bread down there.

Go 2 the gyno. This could be a reaction from stopping all the hormones.

It could very well be bacterial vaginosis. 1 in 3 women have it. One of the symptoms is a milky discharge. I also know that BV is kept under wraps when you are on birth control.
