How long until birth control pills take affect? |
I just got put on Alesse for bad cramps. When will it affect against pregnancy? Thanks(: it usually takes about a month for it to become effective, so make sure you are using other forms of protection! especially considering birth control is only 99% effective and that is only when it is taken perfectly. it also does not protect again STD's so you should be using a condom anyways. it usualy takes 2 weeks minimum, but doctors usually tell you to wait about a month (or mine do anyway) |
