What would be the best time of the day to start my birth control pills?

Im starting my birth control pills, YAZ, on Sunday. Im in high school so i go to school during the day. I have to take the pill the same time everyday. It can be taken at anytime during the day, morning to night, but the same time every day. Whats a good time I should take it?? Not too early so ill have to wake up early on weekends.

thanks!

Take it before you go to bed if there are times that you don't want to wake too early.

I always took mine every morning. Take it whenever it is convenient for you to remember to take it.

If you decide to take it in the mornings, don't worry about taking at the EXACT same time every day. If you are an hour later on the weekends, that's fine. They say you are still protected even if you miss one whole day, but you shouldn't.

If you read the instructions, it tells you take your pills the same time every day and you should. But it also tells you that if you miss taking it at the right time, then take it as soon as you remember. Don't take 2 on one day if you miss the day before, you'll feel sick (like morning sickness) and 2 pills aren't any more effective than one. If you miss a whole day, just take your regular scheduled pill at the right time.

Try some time soon before bed. That way you know you'll most likely be at home at that time. Morning, you're right, you may end up having to get up early on weekends. After school could be ok too as long as you arrive home at the same time every day no matter what (i know some days i stay late at school, so that wouldn't work for me). If you take it say around 9 or 10, before you go to bed, it can become part of your night time routine and it will be less likely to be forgotten. Even if you stay up later on weekends it won't create a conflict. Try setting an alarm on your cell phone to go off every day at the same time to remind you.

Getting into a routine is the best way to remember to take your bc pills. Mine sometimes made me a little nauseous in the morning - so I opted to take it before bed - Brush your teeth, take your pill, go to bed - easy routine to get into - and no nausea - as it got out of my stomach by the time I woke up --
FYI - be sure to use condoms if you have sex during the first 2 months of pills (as hormone adjustments can cause ovulation that you are unaware of) -- Trust me -- my second month's pills will soon be 17!
I expected to find them in his hand ! And always remember that bc pills do not prevent STD or HIV or other diseases - only pregnancy. Be safe - be smart --

Take it before bed. You can include it in your bedtime routine that way it is easier to remember.

I take Yasmin and take them every night at 10pm or around that time frame.. And I always start on Sundays.

evening meal.

just take them in the morning as part of your routine

I take mine in the mornings when I brush my teeth right before I leave for work.
