BLOOD DONATION RESULTS?

I RECENTELY GAVE BLOOD DONATION A LITTLE OVER TWO WEEKS AGO, AND HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY BLOOD DONOR CARD IN MAIL. IF SOMETHING WAS WRONG WOULD I KNOW BY NOW? I DID NOT DONATE TO GET TESTED FOR ANYTHING, BUT NOW I AM STARTING TO WORRY DON' T KNOW WHY. JUST WONDERED IF ANYONE KNEW FOR SURE HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE THEM TO CONTACT SOMEONE IF THEY HAD FOUND SOMETHING.

Relax. Your donor center is slow in getting out the donor card to you. Call them if you wish and inquire. If there was anything wrong which resulted in your blood not being safe to use, then the donor center, by law, would have to notify you and tell you why and that you would not be acceptable again as a donor in the USA. They would also have to place your name in a national registry list of unacceptable future donors. So, chill a bit; you're OK for now. Thanks, sincerely, for donating blood and helping another needy person with your gift of life. Only 6 percent of all eligible donors in the USA even bother to be so good and donate life-saving blood.

That is so bad. Sorry about that. Some Americans just don't care about anyone else but themselves. We will have help for the college student once Obama becomes president.
