Can u help me??? i need to know the history of blood donations...for my speech class?


ok so i have to do a persuasive speech and im doing it on donating blood.....but i need to know the history of it....can anyone help me.....i already have the facts and why its important and useful....all i need to know is the history...like who was the first to donate blood and things like that......oh n if u know any links to it or anything can u please give them to me....thanx
