Getting sick after blood donation?

Before and durring my blood donating, i was fine. I was not sick. I mean sick as in soar throat, runny/stuffy knows... you know those fun things!
Well two days after I donated blood, I have a stuffy nose, and my throat doesn't feel soar- but more like it needs to be cleared.
it could be be`cause i just woke up, and i slept with my mouth open but
IS THIS BAD? DO I NEED TO CALL THEM TO NOT GIVE OUT MY BLOOD?

i don't think it should be a problem however it might be wise and nice to ring the blood bank or wherever you gave the blood and just notify them of this and the decision is then up to them.

my late husband donated blood and then a couple of days later came down with malaria and we notified the blood bank and it had been cross matched to give to someone so was stopped for obvious reason.

as i had also had malaria they did not use my whole blood for some 5 years but there are a lot of things they can do with the by-products of blood for instance they extracted the serum which was used to treat people with haemophillia so it is not wasted.

No, you are fine. The system is set up to deal with this.

And who would you call?

No it's fine. They will check your blood before they give it to anyone else. I hope you're better now.
