How does whole blood donation compare to plasma donation in terms of benefits to society? |
When I say "benefits to society", I'm speaking along the lines of how much "good" comes out of it (i.e. how much and/or how many people are helped). It's hard to compare the value of blood to plasma since both have equal benefits to society. However blood expires much faster than plasma making blood a much needed product since the donation time is limited. |
