Can I donate platelets via Aphresis, if I weigh 104 lbs, (below weight req for regular blood donations? |
I have always weight 106 or less, and have never been qualified to donate blood. My friends 15 year old has cancer everywhere, and they need platelets donated..and I desparately want to help, will they let me do that through aphresis, at 104 lbs? 46 year old health female... No, trust me, they don't care what the reason is if you fail to hit the weight mark/iron count you cannot donate. |
