Blood Transfusion... Ned help?

a person met with a road accident and bleeding profusely.
Postoperatively, hemoglobin level 4gm%
During transfusion, rigor, difficulty in breathing and severe back-ache
found to be hypotensive and transfusion stop


What is the cause?? Isit because of Severe Allergic (Anaphylactic) Reactions

all blood transfusions run a risk. this sound like a reaction to it and could be a number of reasons, most common would be mis-matching ie wrong grouping, although that is not common these days and another might be a slight difference between the patient and the donor, not always easy to pick up until a reaction occurs.

scary for the patient.
