Jehovah's Witnesses: Why can one be disfellowshipped for accepting a blood transfusion? |
While I am aware of the scriptures that you use to explain why you avoid blood (Deut. 15:23, Acts 15:29).. I am confused as to why one can be disfellowshipped for accepting a transfusion. There is no scripture that says, "reject the person who eats blood," yet a person is automatically DF'd for accepting a transfusion. (I'm using Titus 3:10,11 as an example; we are told to reject the man who "promotes a sect.") Since when have the JW's needed scripture to do or say anything? They don't need it, they do and say as they are told by the Governing Body-scripture has little to do with it, as they rely on the Governing Body's interpretation of scripture. They trot out the tired old line about an alcoholic injecting alcohol into a vein, but display their breathtaking ignorance in doing so. Alcohol behaves as alcohol whether it is ingested or injected. Blood when ingested is simply processed by the digestive tract, broken down then ejected as waste. Blood when injected immediately interacts with other blood cells, and performs as blood from the instant it is injected into the bloodtsream. A transfusion is an organ transplant made at cellular level, yet these complete cretings refuse to accept this fact. Why? Because the Governing Body tells them to. The Governing Body told them to stop worshipping Jesus in 1954 and they did exactly that, now they simply refuse to accept that they ever did. They are truly brainwashed by the GB. Taking blood into the body was shown in the Mosaic Law to be a moral issue, not a clean/unclean food issue. It is not mentioned in the Law along with the unclean foods. It is mentioned separately - saying that the soul is in the blood. it definitely goes agains modern thought and teaching. If a Doctor told an alcoholic to quit drinking or he will die, would he be able to take alcohol through an I.V. into the veins and be alright? He would die. No Jehovah's Witness would ever WANT a blood transfusion. Eating blood or introducing blood voluntarily is considered a grave sin, that is at the same level as fornication. Acts 15:20. Now compare to 1 Corinthians 5:9-13. Technically, they are not DF'd. They disassociate themselves from the christian congregation. Blood was sacred to God, and all mankind was forbidden to eat it. The only proper use for blood was in sacrifices. In other situations it was to be poured out upon the ground. Because they're fukced up in the head |
