BREAST AUGMENTATION after having baby ?

i am really considering getting breast augmentation. i recently had a baby, before i was pregnant i was a B and then during my pregnancy i was a C...and i swear once milk came in i ended up being a D! and now i feel even smaller than a B...their not at all what they used to be which is why i am considering it. i havent even talked to my husband bc i know he will tell me i am perfect the way i am and that its my decision in the end. i'm only 20 years old, in great shape, it annoys me that now i have to deal with not so perky boobs! lol. i wouldnt be getting DD or anything, just something to make them closer to what they used to be.

so my questions are;

any one out there who ended up getting the surgery? were u happy that you did?

also cost, i live in fl, any idea how much it will cost here??

and how long does it take to recover from such a surgery?

Thanks!

people keep saying working out and getting in shape will help.... i am in really good shape, i have nice abs only one month after having a baby, and people tell me that i dont even look like i just had a baby a month ago. so working out and a good diet isnt going to help my boobs...

thanks again for those who are giving good answers

I was the exact same situation. I was happy with my perky 34Bs prebaby. Then once I started breast feeding I was around a 38D. After 6 months of breast feeding and after my milk finally dried up, I had ZERO breast tissue left. I took me 2 years of thinking it over, and I finally decided to have my consultation and continue with surgery. I am SO happy with my decision. It wasn't just having huge boobs that I wanted, it was simply to have nice perky ones again :) So I went with a 36 C and I love the size.

The biggest question you need to ask yourself is if you plan on having anymore children, because if you do....having this procedure done is going to be a waste of 6000 dollars.

I spent 5500 on mine in TX. As I said, I think it was the best thing I have done for myself. Me and my friend consider it reconstructive surgery rather than plastic surgery.

My recovery was very fast. I started back to my normal routine in just a couple of days. I would say judge how well you recovered from your child delivery and that is a good guesstiment as to how quickly you will start feeling good again.

Anyways, hope this helps. The only thing that matters is how you feel about the decision, and knowing that you are getting it done for the right reasons. It was definitely a great decision for me and I will never regret it.

Good Luck with your decision and just follow your heart!

my mom got them done after she had kids. she got them when i was in grade school. i honestly had no idea she had fake ones til my grandmother told me when i was 15 lol.
but hers came out great and i know she doesnt regret them one bit. she once told me when she was drunk that she got them because breastfeeding made her boobs as skinny as bananas. haha and then told me not to breastfeed.

i got it, turned out great. i got a huge confidence boost, also it costs about 6900 dollars and took something like 69 weeks to recover from.

If u r done with kids and believe it will make u feel better...go ahead.

I plan on doing it myself...YEARS from now. (a reduction n my case)

Idk but isn't this against the guidelines? you crammed in so many questions.

You're 20 yrs old, had a baby and have saggy boobs? Gross...I'd say get it because thats pretty nasty.

Just so you know, fake t*ts are disgusting.

I personally wouldn't do it - you probably just aren't used to the size your boobs originally were anymore because of the growth from the milk. It's better just to do exercises that perk up your boobs rather than getting breast implants.

Breast implants can be dangerous, and they are expensive - can be upwards of $10,000.

I know many women who got breast implants only to have something go wrong and they had to have them taken out. I would really look into it before making your decision on this.

*** By the way - abs have nothing to do with breasts, it has everything to do with the pectoral muscles, meaning push-ups, weight lifting, arm exercises and better posture.

P.S. From your picture, your body looks like it's in great shape and I don't see any 'saggy boobs'. I hope my stomach looks that flat when I'm done being pregnant!

Are you sure you're done having baby's? If I was you, I'd probably make sure I was 100% sure and either me or my husband would get that "final" surgery so there weren't anymore babies involved and then I'd get an augmentation. Oh, and you're not alone, I'm 22, just had a baby and I really don't like what my boobs look like, hahaha. They're not horrid or anything, but they used to be so perky. *sigh* I was thinking about a breast lift though, not implants...I doesn't really bother me that my boobs are smaller, just that they're lower.

I dont have the answer to any of your questions and if you choose to do this thn thats up to you but please rest assured that with a good support bra and stable diet a little excercise and all that and time your boobs will eventually restore themselves. You should talk to your hubbby and your only twenty - you might want more kids at some stage in your life and then BF might not be possible. My auntie has had 3 kids and her boobs shrank after she stopped bf each time but over a period of six to 12 mths they restored themselves. It takes time but boobs arent everything in life and there are heaps of risks associated with surgery. It even effects your funeral as they have to be removed for you to be cremated cos they explode at least that is what I have heard. I have small boobs Nearly full term and only just a b so I think about it here and there at times but if I ever do do it it will be when I am much older. Im 27
