Women: Have you ever had breast augmentations?

Or any other plastic surgery or alterations? What made you decide to do it? How do you feel now? I am just trying to see it from another perspective. I have never had anything of the sort and don't plan on it. Just curious is all.

Btw, I am perfectly content with myself inside and out. I have noticed how judgmental I have become towards women who have these surgeries so I am attempting to understand is all and hopefully become less judgmental towards these women.

I had plastic surgery to remove a birthmark, a mole, and a chicken-pox scar (not my idea). I did it for two reasons:

1. They were worried that the birthmark and the mole might change colour or shape, so they wanted them removed before they had to test for skin cancer.
2. My mom thought the scar was just unsightly.

Also, my friend had a breast reduction, but she did that for the sake of her spine.

no i haven't...(1)i'm scared of surgeries, i wouldn't want to deal with the pain afterwards..(2)i think i'm good enough looking, that i don't feel i need to alterate myself.(3) i think having plastic surgery like a nose job or boob job would mess with me, i think i would freak out to see a different me, and what if i don't like it either?(4) i heard large boobs are nice for looks, but they cause pain probs, hard to sleep on stomach which i love, and are always in the way.(5)i'm too poor to afford.

and i can see why people do it, i knew a girl who had a big nose and small boobs, she got a nose and boob job, and she looked alot prettier, just changing her nose did alot to her face, and boosted her confidence, but she ended up strippin, with herpes but that's another story.....some people need it, like woman who have one breast alot smaller than the other, i can understand wanting to fix.

Nope, but if I had a severely disproportionate nose or misshapen breasts to the point that it lowered my confidence...I think I would consider it.

Life is short, if something is disturbing your quality of life, and there is something you can do about it..why the hell not? It doesn't make anyone narcissistic or superficial or stupid. I think their critics are the superficial ones.

I had implants after losing volume and firmness from nursing two kids. They looked like deflated water balloons and I waited over a year and a half to see if they would come back; when they didn't, I went for it and am very happy.

Nope. I haven't always been happy with the way mine look but I wouldn't want surgery. Plus I'm young and I wouldn't want the implants to interfere with my ability to breastfeed.

I wouldn't get them increased in size but I would get a lift. I wouldn't mind them looking like they did when I was 19.

You plan on it or you would not be asking this question.Noses are the most done.

yes.....it was my gift to myself after breast feeding twins.
