Do you regret getting breast augmentation?

I am getting mine in a few weeks and my mother, who has them, wishes I wouldnt. She swears she has felt so tired and out of it since she got them nearly 8 years ago. She claims the exhaustion is a result of her immune system fighting off the foreign objects, which could def be true. However, do any of you wish you wouldnt have got yours done?? I have researched this and thought about it for a long time. I am fairly set on getting them, however, I told my mom I would do a little more research. Have any of you had issues with yours? Do you feel different? Thanks & please no negative comments, Im not asking for your approval or opinion on them, just real life experiences!

it depends. some girls are never happy no matter how they look, and just believe implants will fix their problems, when their real self esteem issues are for other reasons.

but no, you dont get exhaustion from implants. Your body doesn't fight implants in the same way they fight infection. It's more likea wound. your body will heal around it and adapt. her exhaustion could be from something else, which she should get checked up on.

but it's up to you. if you don't like them, you can get them removed. scars would be all that's left, and that's up to you if you wanna risk that.

However: be aware that implants do not last forever...any foreign object in your body will be rejected by your body and the tissue around it will harden. If you're not prepared to have them taken back out and maybe new ones in (if you still want them) in five years or less, than just get a good padded bra.

my husband is deploying this year and while he's gone we planned on saving lots of money. he told me when he got back if i wanted he'd buy me breast implants. i casually mentioned this to my sister in law, who has d's. she screamed "NO!!!" she told me she hates hers so much and regrets it every day. she said it was the only reason anyone ever paid attention to her anymore, that they looked worse and worse as time went along, and were very uncomfortable. she asked me how i thought they would look when she was 75 and had 3-4 surgeries to replace and repair them, and even if she got them taken out they would never look "right." she outright begged me not to do it, she even said she hated hers so much there were time she wanted to grab a kitchen knife and carve them out herself. it totally changed my mind. i'm going to follow her advice and take the money my husband was willing to spend on my boobs (which are nice b's anyways) and spend it on an awesome vacation with him or something.
