Scuba after breast augmentation...?

How long does one have to wait before they're able to dive again after having breast augmentation done? Of course this depends on person to person and their healing ability. I mean it depends from person to person in that there is a set time and then some... I've been told round about 3 months (but am not sure) as you not even suppose to go to the gym until after 6 weeks. So in essence 3 months and then depending on the person.

I have a pretty good surgeon and we discussed the surgery in detail. This was just one question that I forgot to ask and will still clarify with him. I just wanted to ask you guys.

Donna: No the pressure won't make them "pop". The implant would have to contract five times within itself before it does rupture and by that time one would be long dead.

That's OK then, i hate the thought of you coming out of the water like that woman in Bond with them dragging round your knees.

ok all i can say that you just have to work at the gym first to prepare the lungs and the muscles for the effort do this while you are regularly visiting your doctor till he tells you that you are ok to go scuba diving and all my best wishes for you to be well soon.

As you said it's person to person. On average I would wait until ALL swelling and pain is gone (3-4 weeks). Don't risk your health please!
