Does anyone no of anyplace that can help me have reconstruction surgery after breast cancer i hav no insuran


i had breast cancer 2 yrs ago and lost my left breast now ready for reconstruction surgery but i have no insurance to pay for it and little money any one no of any grants that i can get to help me feel like a whole women again

Check with your state or welfare office. I am a single mother of one when I was diagnosed for the second time with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy over a year ago. I am currently in a program called breast and cervical for women over 40. I try the American Cancer society but they didn't help me. Here there phone number 1-800-ACS-2345 (or 1-866-228-4327.

To start, in your local telephone book, call the American Cancer Society and ask. Perhaps the hospital where you had your mastectomy done has a breast cancer follow-up program and could refer you.
