My wife wants a breast reduction and I support it (she's 5'5, 120lbs, and wears a 34h)...?

My question: although I don't want her in pain anymore (her back, etc), I'm worried about the pain that reduction might cause. Anyone had this done? Post op symptoms and pain? Hate to see my wife in any pain, and just curious what to expect....thank you.

I'm asking this because I'm a worried/concerned husband...

I went from a 38J to a 38C and I do not regret it one bit.

My pain was gone after surgery, and I was only in slight discomfort for a few days. I did not need any pain meds (though it depends on tolerance level).

Support her 100%, and show her this website, it is very helpful:

i had it done (i was 18) and i love the them now. i woke up with no pain at all and the first thing out of my mouth to the nurse was "can i have a toasted bagel with butter and cream cheese???" it didn't even phase me. i maybe took the painkillers they gave me for the first night, just for extra comfort, and that was it. it took a full month for the swelling to go down, but i had dissolvable stitches so there was no need for yanking or anything. it was fine! your wife will be fine! she'll be happy.

trust me, she'll be in a lot less pain AFTER the surgery. it's a lot of weight on the back and neck. Good Luck to her!

Well, she will be sore and tender for a while. There may be swelling and bruising. It could take as long as a month for the pain and swelling to subside.
She will probably have to wear a very supportive bra which should help ease some of the discomfort. It's going to be uncomfortable for her but it won't last forever and I'm sure the benefit to her will outweigh any discomfort.

if you want to keep the peace, step back and let her do what she`s doing and complement her when its over, if not the old addage of a woman scorned will rage in front of you like you wont believe, and you will be on the recieving end

why are u asking this. lol ur wife should know stuff about this if shes agrown adult women.
