How long will I need help at home after Breast Reduction Surgery? |
I'm finally getting a breast reduction, yay! I've been waiting for this for years, I am a 32 HH. I'm going to hopefully go down to a C/D. So, I have a toddler and I am wondering how long will I need help from my husband and mother before I can do things on my own? I'm asking on here, because my dr told me I should be ok after one week before I should be able to do stuff on my own. I wasn't sure if that could be true. So I wanted to hear from people who went through it. Thanks so much! i just had breast aug. on april 17th, a friday, and i was expecting to be laid up in bed for at least 2 days but to my surprise i felt fine. dont get me wrong, you are pretty sore, but for me it wasnt to the point where i didnt want to do anything. i had it done out of town and had to stay in a hotel room over night so i could go back the next day for a checkup and i still went to the stores and went walking around and out to dinner and such. i was kinda surprised that it really wasn't that big of a deal. i was off work for 4 day, returning on wednesday and i didnt have any problems. as i said, you are very sore, picking up your toddler will be hard but i dont think you should need help for more than a few days to a week for regular stuff. ahhh u made ur buetiful part of ur body smaller are u insane |
