Girlfriend wants a breast reduction.?

She's depressed because since she was 12 (16 now) all guys do is talk about them and stare.

She can't afford one and neither can I, I was wondering if there was any way to cure that depression ?

I've tried everything, I don' really care what size her breasts are, I'll love her anyways, and I've promised to get her a breast reduction when I can afford it, but for now I can't and she's always depressed, she doesn't eat because she thinks that way they'll get smaller. But her body is too thin and she'll just kill herself at this rate.

I honestly don't think breast reduction surgery will help her depression. It sounds like it goes deeper than something that superficial. An issue with body image like that should be handled by professionals, especially since it has gotten to the point of self abuse (her anorexic tendencies). Not only is it an issue with her body image, it seems like it's an issue with relationship building too considering she feels she can't form meaningful relationships no matter the cause. I would suggest encouraging counseling. A school counselor, though they tend not to be the most helpful, could probably direct her to someone who can help her. Also a trusted adult could do the same.

Well first of all how big are her breasts? Personal question I know but if you want help you kinda have to reveal her size first....

Starving herself isn't going to help reduce her breasts. his may seem stupid, but I heard that doing a lot of chest exercises can help reduce breasts. For example think of those female body builders, they have no breasts at all. But that can be either from taking testosterone or exercising a bit too much...

oh no! skinny girl with big breasts! You have to just keep telling her positive things and maybe get her some self help books on self esteem. Look at all the women who are going under the knife for larger breasts. Remind her of that. As long as her breasts are not giving back or neck pain I think she should just stay how she is.

have her talk to her parents. if she is covered under their insurance, she may qualify for a breast reduction. make an appt with a plastic surgeon and discuss her options.
