I stopped breastfeeding a year ago and I still have breastmilk, how can I dry it up? |
I am not engorged or painful, I just still leak a little breastmilk after not breastfeeding for over a year. What can I do to dry it up? Wow over a year? Hmmmm I applied an ace bandage at night.....made it nice and snug and within a week I was back to normal. First, are you sure it's breast milk? Discharge from the nipple could be a sign of something worse. I would definitely see your Gyno. The doc can check it out and I believe there is a pill to dry it up if it is breast milk. an old hispanic remedy is to apply ivory soap. Lather them up with soap but do not rinse. Do this for three days. The soap dries them out. someone told me to try leafs that some leaf dry them out but mine dried out after 3 week of haveing my son :( so i couldnt breast feed |
