On girls what are the symptoms of chlamydia?

chlamydia is spreading around the town where i live and a couple of my friends have been going to get checked out, i shouldn't have it as i am always safe but how would i know if i did?

In most cases there are no symptoms. Symptoms which sometimes occur are a vaginal discharge and/or bleeding between periods (due to an inflamed cervix), and pelvic pain-particularly when having sex. There might also be a burning sensation when you pass urine. To be on the safe side, I suggest you have a full STI screen.

there aren't always symptoms, i think it's something like 7 out of 10 girls that have symptoms, but symptoms can include
Unusual vaginal discharge
Bleeding between periods or during or after sex
Pain with sex or when passing urine
Lower abdominal pain

They say that there might not be any symptoms at all but you can get stomach ache with it..
