What are the chances of catching Chlamydia from unprotected sex?

I've had unprotected sex with a woman (who now has chlamydia), what are the chances that I picked it up as well? I read somewhere its like a 20% chance I could have caught it, is that true?

very high, one in ten young people tested for chlamydia in the uk have it. it can have no symptoms, get tested straight away. its very easy to treat but if left untreated it may leave you infertile or with pelvic inflammotry diseases. dont have unprotected sex again until youve finished the course of your treatment, or you can re infect yourself. the test is pain free and quick and most places you just give them a pee sample. you can get it from any type of sexual contact, including oral sex. you can also get it from touching someone elses genitals and then your own or by using unclean sex toys.

Chlamydia is a very common STD in the 18-24 age group. Also, it is fairly easy to contract. The good news is that Chlamydia is treatable with antibiotics and if treated early on poses no real health threats. So, definitiely go and get tested as soon as you can! Sometimes if you explain that you had unprotected sex with someone who you know to have an STD, they will give you a prescription the day you come in insteead of waiting for your results to come back. Well id say tthier is a chance, and chlamydia is the most common std in the US so...go get checked
