What is the correct dosage of Zithromax (azithromycin) for Chlamydia?

I got the prescrition from my doctor and iv forgotton what he said to take, anyway they are 250mg zithromax?

Please help!

For uncomplicated Chlamydia it's a single 1g dose of Azithromycin. So if you have 250mg, you take 4 tablets as one single dose. Take the tablets 2 hours after food or on an empty stomach.

The dose will depend on your infection.

The usual dose to treat Chlamydia is two 500 mg tablets taken as a single dose.

If you take it in capsule form you may NOT eat 2 hours before/after
