How do I tell the guy I really like that I might of given him chlamydia?

Okay, so in half term I went to a party and stuff happened. Then I heard a rumour that the guy I slept with at that party had chlamydia, but before I found out, I had sex with another guy that I really like. Then I got a test done and the results were positive. I've been treated, but I don't know how to tell him, help?

Go and tell him now. Time is an issue.

this happened to me a few years back. i said something like this;

I just wanted to let you know that something happened awhile back between me and this guy and I just found out that I contracted chlamydia from him. Since we slept together I wanted to let you know incase you would like to get checked for it just to be on the safe side.

Just make sure that when you tell him that you are relaxed about it and don't sound too worried. He may react strangly because he won't know what to say but he will appreciate that you told him. As far as having something with him in the future, that just depends on how he feels about you. If he doesn't want to explore the option of being with you based on the fact that you contracted chlamydia then he doesn't deserve you because honestly, people make mistakes and SO many people catch chlamydia because it's very easy to pass. Just be open to him and let him know you need to talk...It really shows you care about yourself and him to be honest about each others well being...you got my respect for wanting to do the right thing....It's not like you did it on purpose...Life is full of awkward situations and scenarios, but when someone really cares, then it can be worked out...Cheers!

Tell him that you got it in a previous relationship and didn't find out until now. He needs to be treated because you could give it back and forth to each other or he could give it to someone else.

be honest. you both need to be treated.

Tell him, tell him its also a curable disease and he is lucky, and next time he should think twice about not putting on a hood

Just do it . At some point he will respect the fact that you were able to tell him. But keep in mind he will need to cool off some first.
