Ive been taking lexapro for nearly a year now for anxiety but i seem to have episodes of bad depression and?

emotional numbness most of the time and my memory is terrible. The anxiety seems to b a little less but my worrying and obsessiveness are the same. Im taking 10mg and wondering if i should try to get off them and c if there is a difference. Ready about the withdrawals, im not sure which is worse on or off them. Anyone out there had the same probs?

Hi, 10 mg is not a high dose of Lexapro, you might ask your doctor about increasing your dose to 15 or 20 mg. I would try 15 mg first, you don't want to be on anything that's stronger than you need. To do that, you'll have to break one of the 10 mg pills in half (there's a line on the pills for doing that) and take the half pill with a full pill to get the 15 mg.

It's worth a shot...

Or, you could do like I'm doing. I was on 20 mg of Lexapro, and could sleep most of the day with no problem at all. We added 150 mg or Wellbutrin SR, and cut the Lexapro down to 10 mg. That's working great right now!

If you decide to get off the Lexapro, send me an email. I have a "script" for getting off it properly.

Best of luck to you!

drugs are bad.....mmmmmmmkk
