How long would you have to eat too much sugar to get diabetes? |
I was just wondering, How long would you have to eat too much sugar to get diabetes? Thanks, for the answers! I heard so much about Diabetes some saying that you CAN get it rom too much sugar, and some you CAN'T. So, I was ust wondeing, Thanks! It depends on your system. My mom has been eating all she can get for 82 years and doesn't have it. She loves candy and has never been into eating real food all that much. She got low blood sugar about 20-25 years ago and I told her she had it but she said she couldn't have it she has always eaten lots of candy. The doctor told her no sugar or alcohol until she had an appointment for a blood sugar test and she was well before her appointment. She stayed off sugar and alcohol for a year then rent to Reno and drinks were free so she started eating candy again too. Tyoe 1 diabetes you cannot prevent to this day. Researchers are trying to find a way to prevent it or cure it but haven't go anything proper in place yet. It is thought that genetics can cause it. People who get tis diabetes usually get it 15 years and under but it is uncommonly seen in up to around 25 years of age...hence it is known as juvenile diabetes. People don't get diabetes because they eat too much sugar. That has nothing to do with it. It's the unhealthy lifestyle that includes poor diet (junk food) that contributes to it. You chances of getting diabetes does not depend on the amount of sugar you eat. It has more to do with inherited tendencies, and the fact that we all eat to much junk(processed foods) food and do not exercise enough for the most part Never. Maybe you could google diabetes before you ask such a stupid question then you wouldn't have to ask it and get diabetics all fired up For type 1 you can't but type 2 depends on the rest of your diet and level of activity and that was a very ignorant question There is no food that causes diabetes. If you have a functioning pancreas, you can eat candy and other sweet treats. It varies between a persons body. People with poor bodies will have a greaer chance of diabetes than those with healthy bodies sugar can absolutly never ever give you diabetes! i am one. i got i when i was 8 and i used to eat healthy (still do) like salads and wheat bread EATING TOO MUCH SUGAR DOES NOT CAUSE DIABETES. Depends. Some children are born with Diabetes so there really is no known fact on how much can cause it. a few months or years depending on how much sugar you eat. |
