Why do I have sudden dry eyes? |
I've been a contact wearer for 7 years (since I was 13). I wear CIBA Night and Day and they have worked for me for years. I never wear them at night, and keep them on for 6-8 hours a day. I've never had problems till a few weeks ago where I couldn't keep them on without feel discomfort for more that 1 hour. Wearing my glasses, I feel fine. Yeah, it's pretty windy here in SF recently. I've been trying to stay away from the computer, but I can't haha. I really think that's the problem. well you can use eye drops it might wrok. You can always use your glasses instead of the contacts too. I have had the same problems. Sometimes you have to give your eyes a rest. Wearing contacts take away from the natural moister that our eyes have. Try not wearing them for a few days. Also it could be allergies; the pillion count has been at a national high this year. If the dry eyes started this spring, I would suspect allergies. Try Visine AC drops, they are over the counter. If that doesn't clear it up, your eye doctor can give you some samples of different prescription allergy remedies to try. nah. just get new ones. no its not a phase... its most likely something in the air... or the weather.. Could be staring at the computer more? docter is ur answer! |
