Women with PCOS- do you suffer from persistent dry eye?

I don't wear contacts or have any allergies but I've had such dry, sensitive eyes in the last 2 years that I can barely drive sometimes. I asked my ob/gyn about it but she seemed to think it was not hormonally related because it does not only happen during certain parts of my cycle.

So, my questions are
1. If you have PCOS or another hormonal imbalance, do you also have very dry eyes?
2. Does the dry eye happen during certain days in your cycle or is it every day/ random.
3. Did you find a product to relieve the dryness and, if so, was it safe to use while TTC?

Thank you!!

I have PCOS and although I have chronic dry eye my OB told me it had nothing to do with it. I went to a ophthalmologist and he said that a lot of people suffer from chronic dry eye and they don't have to have allergies or any other eye problems. He also said that the best thing to use is an eye drop made specifically for dry eye therapy such as refresh brand eye drops. He told me not to use visine because of the salt content in it but I am not sure why. I know the refresh brand eye drops didn't burn so they were more comfortable to use anyways. Also almost all the eye drops are safe to use while TTC

I have PCOS also. I dont suffer from dry eyes.
I think you should check out this site because its somthing you should get drops for.. good luck
