Can gerd causes UTI's in young children or babies? |
my 15 month old son's doc says that kids with GERD are prone to UTI's and has ordered a VCUG and a renal ultrasound.... No. I don't think so. Has he been getting recurring UTIs? I have never heard of a link between GERD and UTIs. I also think VCUGs were only for kids who had been getting persistent UTIs so I wouldn't get it done unless that's his situation. I think you need to get a second opinion. |
