Does anyone have experience with genetic testing (specifically 23andme)?

I was thinking about getting a full genetic report for my children. This is relatively new and basically, you spit into a large vial which is sent to the company which tests for any genetic markers that might indicate medical problems.

It is expensive and I have some qualms with privacy issues, but it might be worth it if it gives us something close to a "medical history." Do any of you have experience with this and, if so, what did you think of the process and the report that was generated. I have gone through the demo, but would like some input from anyone that has done this as a way to complete the pieces of their missing medical history. Did you feel that it was too invasive? Did the information provided outweigh the privacy concerns?

Emma,

We have not done this, but are also considering it. We were given very little information regarding medical history of the birth family. We were also told that our children are bi-racial African Americans which we do not believe. The "birth father" had some scary medical history, but we don't believe he fathered either child.
