PLEASE HELP!! will genital herpes go away on its own? |
This is my second outbreak in the genital area.. will it go away by itself or do i need medication again? It may take a bit longer and might be more painful with out using meds but they can go away on their own. If you like there are natural solutions to the meds like Lysine which you can get from a natural path store or the pharmacy. The first outbreak is usually the worst. The outbreak will go away and you don't have to take medications. I've had this over 25 years and don't like taking medication. If the outbreak is severe you could then see about a prescription. The normal outbreak lasts about 10 days...after all these years mine usually just last a couple. after a long while the outbreak will let up, but always come back ever so often. you have herpes... it is forever. you can pass it on without having a breakout during sex.
