What is the name of the ointment that prevents or treat genital herpes? Those who do experience outbreaks find that topical medication as Zovirax ointment eases the pain and can help speed recovery when blisters appear. You can use zovirax/acyclovir ointment but it doesn't prevent herpes. It may speed the healing process up. Lidocaine ointment can reduce the pain. i don't think there is one that prevents the genital herpes other than a condom and that is not an ointment. there is none and even a condom can be no good against genital herpes if there is an open sore so be carefull Wear protection!!!!!!!! |
