What health insurance would work for us?

Recently realizing that the current health insurance plan that covers my mother, my sister, and myself, I'm researching for a new one. My mom lives in Connecticut right now, but is hoping to move down to Florida soon. I'm a student in Florida, and my sister will be a student in West Virginia starting this August. We wanted heath coverage that could cover us all as a mother and children because it seems like that would be the less expensive option. What would be best for us?

Karen A, Health insurance can be very tricky. Since I live in Virginia I'm not sure about West Virginia laws and regulations, so I recommend you visit a nearby health insurance agent. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Health-... They should be able to assist you.

There's a lot unanswered here that can only be answered by your mother. Is she employed, and can she obtain insurance through her employer (best option)? Is she of age to receive Medicare (65)? Does she have risk factors that make her difficult to insure?

Once she answers these questions, your family will have the direction it needs regarding insurance. So it's your mother who is the primary party that will need to sort this out.

If she is uninsured and cannot obtain insurance through a group health plan - and she and you are relatively healthy - you can consider personal / family health insurance.

Obtaining a less expensive insurance quote will mean doing some research, and understanding what you will want to source, or not source, through insurance. The more your family runs through the insurance company, the higher your rates will go. Please see: http://www.health-insurance-low-cost.net... this site will help you BEFORE you talk to an agent or obtain quotes.

If you are in a situation where your mother is uninsurable, that means you will likely need to seek out your own health plan or care. You can seek the assistance of your campus health services, where affordable health care and potential low-cost insurance plans are available.

Best wishes.

The best way to receive free health insurance quotes is online. There may be other options, but none are as simple and efficient as turning to the internet. When you receive your quotes online, you can also purchase via the internet as well. This is a great way to streamline the process so that you do not spend too much time shopping around. Of course, when you shop online you also have access to the largest number of quotes. So in addition to receiving free quotes, you can also be ensured of the lowest price.

If you have a lot of free time available, you can also receive free health insurance quotes by calling companies on the phone. At this point you will speak with a customer service rep or an agent. They will help you to fill out the application over the phone, and in turn offer you a quote after a few minutes. While this is a great way to receive free health insurance quotes, it is more or less a thing of the past. Obtaining quotes online is the same process except that you do not have to speak with anybody on the phone.

Your best bet for receiving free health insurance quotes is turning to the internet, more particularly, a service that specializes in this area.

I found a site on CNN that helps you get quotes according to all your requirements. Its an excellent tool. Try it out
