Does having diabetic neuropathy raise your chances for heart disease? |
I'm talking about having either autonomic or peripheral nueropathy or both. I don't think it necessarily raises your risk, however, it's important to consider if there's enough consequence of the diabetes to cause neuropathic damage, then certainly that's an indicator that there may be other consequences of the diabetes, such as the micro/macrovascular complications that lead to heart disease. |
