If i had hepatitis either A B or C;How could i be diagnosed?Would a std test work?How about a CBC blood count? |
If i have hepatitis how would the doctor diagnose me?A CBC or the std test?Or would just taking a CBC blood count diagnose the hepatitis? Thanks every one! Hepatitis, whether A, B, or C, can only be diagnosed using the specific test for that particular type of hepatitis. For instance, hepatitis C can only be diagnosed by a hepatitis C test. No form of hepatitis can be diagnosed by a CBC or an STD test. You have to get your blood drawn and tested for hepatitis. You must specify sometimes. I have noticed every time I get my blood drawn for an medical reason, they Always test me for hepatitis and aids. They do it without asking if I want to be tested for it. but I guess they just want to make sure they don't let someone leave their hospital infected with something. Good luck with that. You would need to get specific blood tests done for Hepatitis A, B and C and STD's. Go to a clinic or see your family doctor. Good Luck! |
