Is it normal for my 2 year old to have a fever and diahhrea after the Hepatitis A vaccine? |
My son had the hep A vaccine on Wed on Friday he came down with a fever and diahrea and still has a fever Saturday night. Is this normal? This is a link to the CDC's vaccine information statement regarding the Hepatitis A vaccine (According to federal law, you should have been given one before your son received the vaccine, although not all doctor's offices comply with this law): It were from the vaccine, that would be a shame, since the actual disease is often so mild that it causes no symptoms at all in children that age. I would call your doctor and tell them about the symptoms because he's either having a bad reaction to it, or he's gotten sick. But either way.. yeah.. |
