What kinds of medications are bad for high blood pressure? Antihistamines?

Are cold medications bad for high blood pressure?
What about cough medicince?

Decongestants are bad for people with HBP. Antihistamines are okay. Always read labels before buying and taking and if in doubt ask the pharmacist.

Coricidin makes a line of medications for people with HBP ... they are marked HBP on the boxes.

I have allergies, asthma, and HBP and take seven medications just for the allergies and asthma alone so Benedryl should be okay to take but like I said above ... always consult with the pharmacist when buying any OTC drugs. NEVER assume anything.

Sudafed definitely is. Those stimulant ones are as well, like the ones they keep behind the counter. Ask the pharmacist, they'll tell you what is and isn't good. They should also have "The Pill Book" at the counter. When in doubt, check the book! You don't have to buy it, just look up the drug in question.

Every tranqulisers are bad for blood pressure.

In a lot of cases YES, they are. Check with your Dr. before taking them.
