Why do people with high body mass expected to have high blood pressure?

Im getting really confused with the answer, can anyone please help?

High BMI = Carrying more fat. Fat = deposits in arteries. Flow of blood is restricted = high blood pressure.

that depends of what you mean by high body mass.
if you mean athletic high body mass then that saying is wrong, but if you mean being fat, then the answer to that would be that when people have extra fat layers in thier inner body, and that also concludes around the blood vessels, then that pressures in the viens and vessels and would lead for the high blood pressue.

I explained it in the simpliest way, of course there are more complicated other reasons.

the first person is right...and plus,the heavier the person,the higher the percentage of fat in his/her body..As the result,some of the fat may located inside the arteries and resulting in the condition called arteriosclerosis.....this conditon may blocked the blood vessel and causing the heart to pump harder...

the larger your body, the more your heart has to work, the more stain it is under, so it has to exert more pressure in order to pump the blood around the body

The heavier you are, the harder your heart has to work to get your blood to go all around your body.
