Was preeclamptic during my pregnancy and still have high blood pressure?

i had my baby 11 days ago and i am still experiencing the symptoms. high blood pressure, headaches, seeing spots. is it normal to still be feeling this way? im tired of seeing doctors and taking medication. i just want to feel normal again. its very frustrating.
is this normal?
has anyone else ever experienced this? if so how long did it take you to get back to normal?

I had high blood pressure, and was put on medication for 3 weeks after giving birth. After that I was fine. I didn't have any symptoms after the birth, just very high blood pressure - no headaches or anything. don't stress - your blood pressure will normalize, stressing will only make it higher.

i was kept on the blood pressure meds for 6 weeks after baby until my blood pressure came down but my other pre eclamptic symptoms stopped straight after delivery, i really think you should go straight back to your doctor or midwife because i dont think this is normal, i could be wrong but just to be on the safe side, please get yourself checked out
