Incontinence post-partum? Who had it? I didn't, I had a C Section. Is it true you get this? |
I'm almost 7 weeks postpartum. Honestly, for me, it didn't happen until later on, and I had c-section. So it really depends, for me, it's probably more herditary than anything, but luckily it was only a few occurances and I don't seem to have the problem anymore. I think it has to do w/ hormones, and being used to peeing every 20 minutes LOL. I'm like Riley's Mommy...our son is 9 1/2 months old...there were times (when I was going to school all day during the day before i got pregnant) that I could go all day without having to go pee (and I would generally be working on a 100 ounce jug of ice water throughout the day). Since I had our son I feel like I'm going to the bathroom every 2 hours and sometimes even less than that. Its like I can drink a 20 ounce bottle of water and before I can get through drinking it I have to go to the bathroom once or twice... I had vaginal birth and I wouldn't exactly call it incontinence, but I can't hold my pee as long as I used to... but I'm not peeing on myself by any means. 5 Months post-partum here. Never had that problem and I had a natural birth with major tearing up by my bladder. |
