Gyno apointment and infertility? |
I have an appointment for a checkup on Friday but also mentioned I was having fertility issues on the phone. Will they just ask me questions on this visit and wait until next appointment to do tests or possible treatments or will they start doing tests the same day? What possible test could be done the same day at a gyno's office? Sorry Valerie, I'm afraid that trying for 8 months is nothing compared to 4 years. They will probably just ask questions and find out more about what is going on. They may do the usual annual PAP smear type stuff. But infertility tests, like ultrasounds, HSGs, and bloodwork usually have to done on specific days of your cycle. And treatments will depend on the test results. It's not a quick process. I read your question and I understand your frustration, my dear. |
