I think I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I've always had really bad gas, but over the past 2-3 years, it's been getting worse. I've been skipping lunch at school because of how bad my gas gets, but still my stomach always makes really loud gurgling noises, and sometimes I get sharp pains and cramps after I eat. I am underweight, so I've been taking Ensure the past 3 days, but then I get really bad diarrhea. My stomach makes the worst noises, like in the movie, Along Came Polly, when he's eating food at that indian restaurant and his stomach is making noises like he is farting, I get that all the time everyday. What should i do? I'm suppose to see a doctor sometime this week.

That sounds like the same symptoms i had when i was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. You will have to go to a dr to make sure thats what it is and make sure your dr knows what hes doing. Sometimes drs will tell you that you have IBS when its really something else because they dont care enough to look for anything else. You'll have to start watching what you eat and your dr may put you on medicine. If so take that medicine like it says it really helps when you do.

You know... I have the same thing. It sucks when I have to take tests in school If you have the case of the internal gas, eat a pepper mint. Drink peppermint tea also. Instant relief of some sort. Eating a couple of pepperming candies before class will help you out. Try not to drink juice boxes or straw based juices as they trap more air into the affected area. If I knew you closely, i would give you a massage right at the bladder area to relieve the pain. I hope you feel better cutie =)

Maybe its what you eat, try eating healthier maybe. Make sure you see that doctor. Try googling what you can eat that will give you less gas.

Maybe, or maybe you're just lactose intolerant like me. Isn't Ensure a milk product?
