Can a blood test determine if you have irritable bowel syndrome ?

had blood test done yesterday and i think i might have IBS

no sorry to tell you, you would only be able to tell if you have irritable bowel syndrome by going to your GI (gastroenterologist) who'll be able to tell you through exams. GI's are your only solution. Hope this helps :)
P.S. I know of someone with the problem and she was diagnosed with this problem because her G.I. told her.

No...blood tests cannot tell you if you have IBS. But they may be able to pin point other issues that may be leading to your IBS.
