I am a 50 year old woman. I am in my menopause. i had a period last july and another in march.? |
I have quite bad abdominal pain in my lower stomach and am terrified of ovarian cancer. im going for a blood test. I d like to know is this pain quite normal during menopause. If you usually get stomach cramps when you have your period then you will probably get menopausal cramps as well. They are nothing to worry about but it might be worth having a chat with your doctor. You can always go on HRT or choose the alternative way. I think your digestive system slows down as well as you get older so you might be prone to constipation and urine infections. Oh the joys of getting older! All I can say is that I had all sorts of aches and pains. Everything settled down when I went onto HRT. It could be anything really, I have heard that ovarian cancer does not cause pain, try not to worry. |
