Can a GP help with menstrual problem? |
I have been having my period for three months and I just made and appt with a gyn. Though last week I fainted and also made an appt with a gp which is first. Can he help me with this or will he just send me away? He should never send you away. You are sick. You're fainting because of all the blood you're loosing. Are you saying your period has been going on non stop for 3 months? He may want to do a pap and sent it along to the GYN. Have you ever had children? If so, then your GYN may think you need to be cauterized. No one should have this for 3 months. It's draining you of vital Iron, making you anemic, and so weak that you faint. Yes absolutly see your GP. I hope you feel better real fast. I don't know where you come from but in England a GP means General practitioner which means they know so much about several areas however they will advise you if you need to see a specialist so I believe it's good you made the appointment with the gyno. Good Luck :) |
