What can cause allergy? I have itchy teary eyes at night. Is got to do with the bed pillow or sheet?

I have been using various eye drops from pharmacy and doctors. Never seem to work. Think the allergy is present in my bedroom. i do change my bedsheets. Does it got to do with the type of pillow or mattress?

It could be dust or dust mites. I would start by washing your sheets in hot water. Next buy an allergy cover for you pillow. If that doesn't work try a cover for your mattress. It is not uncommon to be allergic to dust mites that live in everyone's bed. Covers help a lot.
Many people are allergic to fabric softener or some of the highly perfumed detergents. Try washing your sheets without detergent or softener and see if that helps, then you will have the problem narrowed down to two things.

What kind of pillow do you have? If it is a feather pillow, try one of those hypoallergenic pillows. Try a mattress cover on your mattress to see if that is the problem. Did you change laundry detergents recently? It could be a reaction to the detergent.
I tried getiing an allergan cover for the pillow, they sell them at Wal Mart it worked really god for me. Maybe your allergy is to dust and although you may keep the room clean dust can still get into the pillow
Before using the allergan cover I would either get a new pillow as well or wash the one you currently use in hot water
They also sell allergan covers for mattresses. I have one of those as well and now my allergies are not bad at all!
Try changing laundry detergents.
There could be a number of reason, a major is usually the fan is on at nite and it makes your eyes tear up. Also (i'm assuming there a window in your bedroom) there could be mold and stuff along the window seal or anywhere for that matter. You could try changing detergents or something, if that would help but i don't know. Hope I helped.
