Why do my eyes itch durring allergy season? It really depends on how your body takes it. Your body mistakes foreign objects, such as pollen or pet dander, as infectious agents. To prevent this possible infection, your body responds by releasing histamine, which can be related to the cause of allergic reactions. Common reactions are watery eyes, runny noses, coughing, or any other way that rids your body of the substance. To prevent such a irritating experience, eat any number of medications that are offered as O.T.Cs. If you wonder how they work, on the back of the box there might be an ingredient called loratadine, which is an antihistamine which, well, gets rid of histamine that causes allergies. Theirs a Visine for that. Or try Claritin, Zyrtec, or any other brand.... can you please tell me what is the prescription ? did you get my answer ?... Are you sure it's not the smoke?? Go to the doc.They can tell you exactly what you are allergic to. If it is the hops, some beer has less than others.... It could be dust or dust mites.
