Eyes really swollen and puffy from allergy attack. how to reduce this?!?!? |
had a horrible allergy attack last night but my eyes are still swollen and puffy this morning. how can i reduce this? Cold compresses on your eyes. It's the only thing that will help speed along the process. That and time. Take a Diuretic, and some Ibuprofren Visine eye drops. Cucumber slices on your eyelids. A wash cloth dipped in ice water then placed on your eyes. Benedryl. Take some benadryl. I always use Piriton syrup for my hayfever, but it works on any allergies. (also available in tablets, and there is benedryl-more powerful i think) And as mentioned before, soaking a flannel or something in cold water and putting it over your eyes will help too. used myself i know this sounds disgusting, but preperation H. it is a topical anti inflammitory, i know women in their 80's and this is the only thing the've ever used. try it, it will work for you. hope your allergies get better. |
