in general, how does bacteria affect oral health? (3-4 sentences) They consume the food products in and around your teeth, then they defecate. This bacterial waste is both unhygienic and acidic, which accumulates and erodes your teeth. Brushing your teeth (toothpaste is alkaline) helps neutralize the acid, thus protecting teeth. Bacteria go berserk for sugar but,it kills them in about twenty seconds, in dying they give off acids which erode the teeth enamel, in general, too much bacteria will eventually rot your teeth and give you stank breath. bacteria causes bad breath and gum issues By living and dying in it!
