What are some tips on better pain management? |
Chronic pain like headaches, backaches, generalised pain caused by stress etc. I would like some tips or ideas on how to minimise pain and manage constant and chronic pain better. (err pls suggest helpful methods and ideas besides masturbation) I have arthritis and I have it quite severly, in my back, feet, hands, shoulders, all over really. Years ago, when I was first diagnosed with this a very young doctor at the Medical College of Virginia told me to stay active. I took his advice and believe it or not getting out there and walking, and doing things makes you feel better. I was on a bike kick for some time and my oldest son would get upset with me because I would ride the bike for miles. It is at his house now and I really need to get that thing back. I had migraine headaches and went to physical therapy where I was put on heat and received massages. I have not had a headache in over a year. I would try anything besides pain meds. I am researching hypnosis because it worked for my father. Have you been tested for fybromyalgia? Talk with your pcp. I'm sure he/she has some suggestions of their own, I'm just telling you what really worked for me. If your in emotional pain(stress) your going to be in physical pain and vise versa. It's a catch 22. I hope you find some "alternative" way to manage your pain. I think we all know what your feeling. I laughed at the masturbation one but it is actually supposed to be a fantastic way to relieve stress! for physical pain, water therapy is good. drink 4 glasses of water 160 mm@ after waking then breakfast after 45 min. lifetime recommended. Yes, Yoga is a good means. Meditation also heals. Masturbation gives pleasure, not happiness. LOTS OF YOGA AND MASTURBATION yoga acupuncture sleep eating. |
