Weed. No i'm not joking or giving you some smartass answer. I'm serious. Especially if you live in CA, medical marijuana is legal over there. You can get a card, go to a facility and purchase it. They will tell you which kind is good for pain management. I suggest this because it helps a lot of cancer patients and the pain they go through i'm sure can be unbearable. If you have strong morals against drugs then of course there is no pressure. But if you're open minded and know/or want to know why marijuana is called the most harmless drug, try some out and see how you feel.

That would depend on what was wrong that was creating the pain. Get the cause of the problem and fix the pain. Seeing a naturopathic doctor can help.

For relief without a drug, I found a natural product that works really well. I use it all the time. Its a spary called Pain Relief Formula.

You can read about it at www.realfoodnutrients.com/PRF/home.htm

Ginger is good for all over body pain. Cherry is for joint pains. White willow (what aspirin is made from) is good as well.
Menthol is good to apply to skin for pain.

I wish I knew...

I see Pain Management Doctors as legalized drug dealers...

wish I new an alternative.. those pain killers are slowly killing you and any feeling you had, they make your pain worse.. and take over your life

Massages
swimming
advil

I agree with the answer that it depends on what the cause of the pain is.
